Why I Do What I Do

Hi, I'm Sandra, a Certified CFES Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor, and Dance Instructor.

Dancing has been one of my greatest passions since I was seven years old. As an adult, I discovered that teaching dance and creating choreographies brought me just as much joy as performing.

In 2008, I made one of the best decisions of my life and pursue fitness full-time. I have 8 years of experience teaching group fitness and dance classes while living on the Sunshine Coast.

In 2020, I had an accident that forced me to take a five-year hiatus while I focused on my rehabilitation and explored what life might look like away from fitness. But with plenty of self-compassion and an unwavering passion for what I love, I found my way back to teaching—and I'm incredibly grateful for that.

Today, I combine the creativity of dance with evidence-based fitness principles to create classes for women that are effective, safe, engaging, and enjoyable. My goal is to help women of all ages become stronger, feel more confident, and enjoy happier, healthier lives.

Every class I teach reminds me that movement is a gift.

My Mission

To make your fitness experience fun and effective, to make you feel safe and free to express yourself in movement, to make you feel understood, in a place with others with the same needs and to help you to prioritize your wellbeing and allow yourself the time to get stronger, more confident, and happier.

My Vission

To transform the wellness landscape across North Vancouver by proving that movement is an ongoing source of physical and emotional liberation. We envision an active, interconnected community where women and older adults reclaim their inherent physical power, master confidence, and embrace lifelong mobility inside a safe, joyful, and completely non-intimidating environment that transcends any physical studio boundary.

What Our Community Says

"I have never felt so comfortable and free in a fitness class. Sandra has an incredible gift for making everyone feel safe and welcome, no matter their experience level. Her dance workouts are the highlight of my week—we laugh, we connect, and I can feel myself getting physically and emotionally stronger. It truly is joyful motion!"
